HOW TO BECOME A SHORIAN

ENROLLMENT INFO

As you begin the registration process, please have the following documents ready to upload:

-Child's birth certificate or certified copy, with raised seal, issued by the clerk of the county where your child was born or the health department
-Michigan driver's license, Michigan ID or a work photo ID
-Current property tax bill, current lease agreement or closing documents
-Immunization records detailing the day, month and year your child was vaccinated. If you need information on immunizations or forms, please visit this Health Department Forms link.
-Dental, Hearing, and Vision results are required prior to the start of school in the fall. For information on free screenings available in Macomb County, please visit this link.  Dental Assessment information and supportive materials can be found on the Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment Program webpage.

Open Enrollment for Schools of Choice students residing in Macomb County begins on Wednesday, February 26th and closes on Friday, September 12th.

Kindergarten Certificate

Class of 2038 Kindergarten Roundup event is scheduled on Wednesday, April 2nd at 6pm inside Lake Shore High School's Performance Gym.  The evening is an opportunity to meet our staff and learn more about our programs and services.

This event is designed with students in mind!  We encourage you to bring your soon-to-be Kindergartners along.

The Great Start Readiness Preschool (GSRP)
recognizes that each child has the right to enter school ready to learn. Learn more about GSRP here. Note: GSRP does not require proof of residency;  Only a Parent ID is needed.

Children can be enrolled for preschool if they turn 4 on or before September 1st.
